Let GO to GROW
Is anyone else feeling like they need to release? Like, the time to let go of the thing/person/narrative is NOW. I don’t know if it’s the changing of the seasons, but I am really feeling this concept.
I always think about my dreams and goals, and even after all of this time, I still sometimes find it hard to let go of certain people/parts of myself/habits that I feel called to release in order to create space for new energy into my life.
When you ask for a bigger life, you cannot keep fighting for a smaller one to stay.
When we set goals and dream of a life full of purpose, growth and possibility, it’s easy to see what we want to welcome in, but much harder to see what we need to let go of in order for this to become our reality.
Releasing what no longer serves us is one of the most wonderful ways to invite new energy into our lives.
Whether it’s an old friendship that doesn’t align with our values anymore, a habit that limits our growth or a specific role we’ve played for far too long—all of these things may have served a purpose once, but now, as we’re evolving, they may no longer have a place in our lives.
Think of your life like a garden: New seeds need space to take root, grow and bloom. If the soil is crowded with weeds and remnants of past seasons, there’s no room left for new growth. The same goes for our lives.
Letting go of past seasons is actually honoring who you were in that time period of life, while actively making room for what’s next.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to reflect on what you want to release. What old habits, relationships or narratives have served their purpose and are now time for you to let go?
Trust that letting go isn’t a loss—it’s a gift you give yourself to make space for the new.
Here’s a simple exercise to support your release process: Write down what you’re letting go and then next to it, write down one small action that symbolizes you letting said thing go. Maybe it’s having an honest conversation, changing a daily routine or journaling.
The process of letting go doesn’t have to be drastic (or maybe it is for you!), it’s more about the intention for more space, liberation and freedom in your life.
Here’s to having the courage to let go.
