Design a life you don’t want to escape

I love the idea that we can be in union with our earth and lives, rather than resist life’s natural divinity and flow.

How beautiful is this sentiment:

“become a friend to the world:

design a life that doesn’t revolve around escaping it.”

It is so magical to know we can dance in tune with the rhythm of life, rather than fight against it.

We often get caught up in numbing habits—scrolling endlessly on social media, eating or drinking mindlessly, or drowning ourselves in NOISE—most of the time without even realizing it.

What if peace is simply about...being?

Just being where you are, right now, in this very moment. Life is always changing, but when we're truly present, we're not running away from anything. Instead, we're being besties with the world around us.

How would it feel if you innately tuned into the ways in which nature ebbs and flows? What would it feel like to see people and animals on the street as they really are? Consider the sensation of being seen for who you truly are, and think about embracing the weather exactly as it is today—not wishing it to be any different.

Life is all about embracing what is and feeling into the present moment. We have the capacity to design a life that aligns with our surroundings and inner values, while still embracing reality and its seeming imperfections.

True fulfillment comes from living authentically within the world, rather than trying to avoid or escape its difficulties.
